A perfect late summer day. Slight breeze, 81 degrees and Lake Michigan as a backdrop. Inspiring. As a student it likely would have inspired me to do something other than study.

We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit how ’bout you. I thought this was such a great image. I think it does say something about pride. The Jesuit tradition teaches young people to see the dignity in every person. This speaks to that. Or at least it does to me.

Amazing the people you can phototgraph if you are willing to say hello. Had a voice like Leave it to Beaver’s dad. I mentioned that his outfit seemed complex, but purposeful to which he responded, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
